La prima cosa bella- Corinne Nicholas

I thought this film was well executed. The cinematography was well done and I understood when times were tense for the characters but also when the main characters were ok and just enjoying themselves. I appreciated that when we are watching the characters past in the 1970's, the film is in a darker, more yellow tint than when we see them in present time. I enjoyed the movie and was engaged, but it wasn't the most interesting movie. The movie was shown in the perspective of only one character: Bruno, which left everything else up to the imagination. My peers think that Anna was a terrible character saying she was sleeping around any chance she got and was boring to listen to. While I disagree about her sleeping around since we only knew for sure she was with their father, I do agree she could have been a little more exiting. She did the best she could with what little resources she had. Her looks take her a long way but also her love for her kids is admirable. I believe she shows her definition of love which I think is through compassion and loyalty to her kids. She continuously shows throughout the film how much she loves her kids and would do anything for them by constantly giving them hugs and kisses and reassuring them everything was ok. I liked the movie and even though I don't understand why is it considered a comedy, I would watch it again.
