The main character in “Momenti di Trascurabile Felicità '' Paolo, is not a very compelling protagonist and has many character flaws. After his death, and resurrection, Paolo is faced with the task of making up for all of his mistakes in life in a mere hour and a half. One would expect a person to spend time with family and friends, which is pretty much what he does. The issue is the writers, and thus Paolo thinks it is feasible to remedy all of his interpersonal problems within this slim time frame. First to address his son, the main issue Paolo has with him was not paying attention to him or spending time with him, which is somehow fixed by watching him play video games for a moment? It's a little unrealistic, but possibly believable from the son’s perspective. The daughter and wife on the other hand have issues that could not be resolved in this span of time. If the daughter is upset with him to the point where she has him blocked, asking her to come home early and playing Life for ten minutes (which takes far longer to play) would resolve next to nothing. Aside from this, the major issues are with his wife. There is no way he had actually reconciled with her, or she had forgiven him in an hour. Sure she could have started to fall back in love with him, but to completely forgive the cheating, it's not plausible. In the same instance, Paolo spends half the film thinking about sex with other women, very endearingly too. Paolo genuinely is not a better person by the end of the film. He certainly has not magically fixed his familial problems and is definitely not deserving of some lottery extended life. If the message is to show how you should spend time with those you love and give your all to them, Paolo is not the right guy. He does the equivalent of just saying sorry and expecting himself to be absolved of all sins. The film is decent overall, but not worth a second watch, and definitely has some logistical problems in the plot and characters.
