Momenti di Trascurabile Felicità - Corinne Nicholas

I personally liked this movie a lot. I thought the pacing of the film made it easier to follow rather than other movies we have watched that went too fast or too slow. Paolo annoyed me a little bit because he cheated on his wife multiple times without any repercussions. Agata was way too forgiving and sweet for Paolo to treat her like that. I also didn't like when he argued with his daughter about everything and made it sound like he was always right and she was just being petty. Aurora made some good points about Paolo not helping her mom out with dinner and cleaning up the house. I was appreciative that once he realized his life was not what he really wanted, he changed his ways. Everyone makes mistakes and it is important we learn from them, so I was pleased that he didn't cheat on his wife at the end like he would of before he died.

I was a little confused about the ending, even though he died and his corpse was taken away, he still had to die all over again but didn't when he missed the truck. Why did that happen? I thought the older man knew everything and would of seen it coming that he would miss the truck. It didn't make much sense to me but I am leaving it up to the interpretation that the older man knew he would miss the truck and made a whole scene afterwards in order to have Paolo appreciate the small or large amount of time he may or may not have left to live. I also think that there is a possibility that the old man didn't know Paolo would miss the truck and gave up controlling his time, and when Paolo did miss the truck it changed the outcomes of whatever he interacted with. When the old man predicted the winning of the game, he was confident and sure of himself, but when they didn't hit the truck the outcome changed; maybe because Paolos outcome changed as well. Then again the old man knew the real outcome and lied about it because he knew Paolo would miss the truck. I have no idea but I did enjoy the open-ended interpretation of the movie.

Overall I would watch it again but would need someone to give me their input on what they think the main message the movie was trying to convey.
